Torchlight decent from Seceda (2.519m) to Ortisei (1.230m) on skis or snowboard
The world's longest torchlight descent organized by the Ski School Ortisei is an exceptional event that promises extraordinary emotions. Scheduled for 18th January 2024, this incredible descent starts at the Seceda mountain station and winds its way down the Longia slope for no less than 10 km, ending at the cozy Val d'Anna hut. The meeting point is at the valley station Seceda.
The atmosphere is full of excitement and anticipation as the participants prepare for this extraordinary descent. The preparations begin at the Seceda mountain station, where the skiers gather and light their torches, creating an enchanting symphony of lights that stand out against the snow.
Once they begin their descent down the Longia slope, skiers immerse themselves in a unique experience, enjoying spectacular views as they whizz through evocative snow-covered landscapes. The slope offers breathtaking scenery, with torchlight illuminating the route down the valley, creating a luminous trail that stretches through the darkness.
Once at the suggestive Val d'Anna hut, the experience continues with the possibility for participants to dine (we highly suggest booking a table in advance: +39 339 691 8772) and end the evening in a cozy and convivial atmosphere.
